Wedding Photography In Nottingham

Emily and Greig’s Nottingham wedding took place at a lovely little Church in the village of Screveton, Nottinghamshire. Greig got ready for the big day with his family and groomsman at Nearby Langar Hall while bridal prep for Emily happened at her parents farm in Screveton.

Drinks & Canapés

After the intimate ceremony, everyone enjoyed drinks and canapés in the Church itself, bought in by local caterers and a saxaphonist provided light entertainment. It was then all aboard the vintage bus back to the family farm for a meal, speeches and live band where the party continued into the early hours.

Bridal Prep

It was a short hop over to Derby for me for Emily and Robert’s summer wedding. I joined Emily at her mum’s house where bridal prep was in full swing with maid of honour Louise. bridesmaid Georgia and little flower girl Everly. Then it was over to the ceremony at St Werburgh’s Church in Spondon where we met an emotional groom. I love to capture raw feelings, they make the best and most memorable photos.

It was then on to the reception at the White Hart Inn at Alfreton where the celebrations continued well into the night.

2020 Wedding Schedule

Well, what an end to my 2020 wedding schedule. Another “Covid wedding” for me took place in December, just a couple of weeks before Christmas. Charlotte and Will tied the knot in the beautiful market town of Oundle in Northamptonshire. I absolutely love this place - stunning and so picturesque.

Bridal Prep

Bridal prep took place in Charlotte’s flat which was only a 2 minute walk to St Peters Church. But why walk when you can arrive in style?! Cue the horse and carriage which were supplied by DK Carriages. The first trip took mother of the bride along with the bridesmaids before returning for Charlotte and her very proud dad. After the small ceremony, limited to just the wedding party, Charlotte and Will enjoyed a ride around Oundle in the horse and carriage as newly-weds.

Wedding Reception

We squeezed a few family photos in before walking down to the Talbot Hotel for the reception and I was able to capture natural portraits of the bride and groom on the way. Drinks and canapés were followed by a sit down meal, cutting of the cake and speeches. The newly-weds entertained the small intimate gathering with their first dance.
